HEXAGON DRAGON INTELLIGENT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Halo Alarm mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.
Important Notice: Smart Alarm is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our alarm services and smart scheduling features. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Alarm Data: Alarm times, labels, repeat settings, snooze preferences, holiday preferences, and selected regions
- App Preferences: Language preferences, notification settings, and other customization options
1.2 Information Automatically Collected
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (Device ID, identifierForVendor on iOS, Android ID on Android)
- User Identifier: A unique user ID generated by the App to maintain your account across devices
- Device Token: Push notification token for delivering silent push notifications to refresh smart alarm schedules
- Timezone Information: Your device timezone and UTC offset to ensure accurate alarm scheduling
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used and app performance data
- Subscription Information: Subscription status, subscription tier (Free/Monthly/Yearly), purchase history, and renewal dates
1.3 Information from Third-Party Services
- Holiday Data: We retrieve holiday information from Google Calendar API to enable smart alarm scheduling that respects holidays in your region
- Subscription Management: We use RevenueCat SDK to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect:
- Device identifiers (Advertising ID, Vendor ID)
- Purchase history and subscription status
- App usage data related to subscriptions
- Device and app information (OS version, app version, device model)

- Payment Processing: Actual payment transactions are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store, which have their own privacy policies
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
2.1 Provide and Maintain Services
- Schedule and trigger alarms according to your preferences
- Implement smart alarm features, including holiday skipping and weekend adjustments
- Send silent push notifications to refresh alarm schedules before holidays
- Synchronize your alarm data across your devices
- Maintain alarm functionality even when the app is closed (using AlarmKit on iOS 18+)
2.2 Manage Subscriptions
- Verify your subscription status and tier using RevenueCat SDK
- Enforce feature limitations based on subscription tier (Free/Monthly/Yearly)
- Validate purchases and prevent subscription fraud
- Process subscription upgrades, downgrades, and renewals
- Synchronize subscription status across your devices
- Provide customer support related to subscriptions
2.3 Improve Our Services
- Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and user experience
- Identify and fix technical issues
- Develop new features and enhancements

- Send important service announcements and updates
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests

3. Data Storage and Retention
3.1 Local Storage
Most of your alarm data is stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms:
- SharedPreferences for app settings and preferences
- AlarmKit for system-level alarms (iOS 18+)
- Local notifications for alarm reminders
3.2 Remote Storage
We store the following information on our secure servers:
- User account information (User ID, Device ID)
- Smart alarm status (whether you have active smart alarms)
- Subscription information (managed through RevenueCat)
- Timezone and region preferences
RevenueCat Storage: RevenueCat independently stores subscription-related data on their servers to provide cross-platform subscription management. This includes purchase receipts, subscription status, and device identifiers. RevenueCat retains this data according to their own data retention policies.
3.3 Data Retention
- Account data is retained while your account is active
- After account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days
- Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes
- Subscription records are retained for regulatory compliance (typically 7 years)
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our App:
- RevenueCat: For subscription management and purchase validation. RevenueCat processes subscription data to enable cross-platform subscription management. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.
- Apple Push Notification Service (APNS): To deliver silent push notifications for smart alarm updates
- Cloud Service Providers: For secure data storage and processing
- Payment Processors: Apple App Store and Google Play Store for actual payment processing
These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify. Each service provider has their own privacy policy governing their data practices.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., court orders, subpoenas, or government regulations).
4.3 Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Children's Privacy
Smart Alarm is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete such information.
8. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country, state, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to Singapore and other countries where we operate.
We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy when transferred internationally.
9. Third-Party SDKs and Services
9.1 Third-Party SDKs
Our App integrates the following third-party SDKs that may collect and process information:

9.2 Third-Party Links and App Integrations
The App may contain features that allow you to:

10. California Privacy Rights

13. Do Not Track Signals
Our App does not respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals because we do not track users across third-party websites or services. We only collect information necessary for the operation of the App.
15. Consent
By using Smart Alarm, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
